So far, our founding First Grade class is filled with children that have graduated from the Golden Acorns program from Acorn Kinderhouse. This creates a strong basis to build the community of active and passionate families for a holistic education- so much so that we now have 3 seats available for rising First Graders from the wider community!

We start with first grade
In the Waldorf education tradition, kindergarten is included in early childhood rather than the starting point for the grades. We are starting with first grade, and the class will be “carried by” or taught by that teacher from first grade through eighth grade. This is why in the enrollment form below, we ask which year you’re looking to enroll your child into first grade. Which also means, the 2025-2026 first grade class is the eldest class and the first to graduate from Mighty Oaks School in 2033.
