Ashleigh Bemis

Ashleigh was introduced to Waldorf pedagogy six years ago when her oldest child participated in the Ducks and Ducklings class and later the preschool at our sister school, Acorn KinderHouse; her youngest child would follow the same path. She was drawn to the holistic education practices that nurture the whole child, use minimal technology, prioritize nature and seasonal celebrations, and foster creative and critical thinking in all stages of development. With a Masters in Public Health Education and Health Promotion, Ashleigh has always been passionate about making the community a better place and brings that same commitment to Mighty Oaks School. When she’s not traveling the world with her husband, children, and friends, she spends time reading, knitting, taking long walks, baking, and planning her next trip (hopefully one that includes a National Park!).
