Caroline Smart

Caroline she lives in Oxford, MI with her husband and two school-aged children. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a deep love for children, she stumbled upon Waldorf education about 10 years ago and was so captivated by the ways it nurtured the whole child-head, heart, and hands. As a handwork teacher, she strives to create a warm, imaginative, and supportive environment where each child can flourish. Through storytelling, artistic expression, and a strong connection to nature, she guides students on a joyful path of learning and discovery. Outside the classroom, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, felting and crafting, exploring different cultures and countries, and paddle boarding on the lake in the summer.
